Research Leads to Inclusiveness Conference
Chambers Family Fund supported The Denver Foundation's Expanding Nonprofit Inclusiveness Initiative in 2003. The Initiative was created to research best practices and to develop tools to help nonprofit organizations become more inclusive of people of color. The Initiative's research led The Denver Foundation and the Community Resource Center to co-host the Diversity and Beyond Conference held in 2005 in Denver. Chambers Family Fund sponsored this conference designed to encourage Colorado's nonprofits to embrace the concept of inclusiveness and to provide an opportunity for organizations to explore issues of inclusiveness as they relate to organizational effectiveness and healthier communities.
